The 17th session of the United Nation Economic Commission for Europe (UN ECE) Working Party on Automated/Autonomous and Connected Vehicles (GRVA) is to take place on 25th to 29th September 2023 in Geneva. The topics set to be discussed include a draft resolution with guidance on Artificial Intelligence in road vehicles, proposed new vehicle subcategories for vehicles equipped with automated driving systems and proposed UN ECE Regulations on Driver Control Assistance Systems (DCAS).
It will also address proposals for supplements to the series of amendments of UN ECE Regulations: No. 79 (Steering Equipment), No. 157 (Automated Lane Keeping Systems), No. 130 (Lane Departure Warning Systems), No. 140 (Electronic Stability Control Systems), No. 13 (Heavy Vehicle Breaking) and No. 152 (Advanced Emergency Braking System for M1 and N1 vehicles).
